A mid-19th century American edition of Sense and Sensibility, published in New York by Buxton & Brothers in 1856 (MDCCCLVI). The title page retains its original typography and period presentation, with foxing throughout that reflects its age and history.
Bound in deep blue cloth with blind-stamped decoration, the book has a quiet presence that reads beautifully on a shelf or styled in a stack. A classic literary work with a lived-in quality that adds depth to any collection.
