Victorian Leather Photo Album with Gilt Pages
A richly detailed Victorian-era photo album bound in dark tooled leather, featuring diagonal foliate borders and a central roundel to the cover. The spine retains its sculpted ribbing, and the album closes with its original metal clasp—a desirable detail to find in working condition.
Inside, the album contains gilt-edged pages with oval photograph windows, designed to hold carte de visite or early cabinet photographs. Albums of this type were deeply personal objects, often used to preserve family portraits, travel mementos, or sentimental keepsakes during the late 19th century.
Even unfilled, this album makes a striking decorative object. Beautiful styled closed on a stack of books or displayed open to showcase its craftsmanship and warm patina.

Shipping time is estimated at 2 weeks from the date of payment. Tracking numbers are provided via email once parcels are scanned in with the carrier. Items will be shipped using USPS or UPS.
