Italian Alabaster Pedestal Compote
A finely carved Italian alabaster compote, featuring a shallow, wide bowl raised on a turned pedestal base. The stone displays soft gray veining throughout a milky white ground, a natural characteristic of alabaster that gives each piece its own distinct patterning. The form is classically inspired, with a gently flared rim and balanced proportions that lend it a sculptural presence.
Origin: Italy, mid-20th century.
Material: Carved alabaster.
Dimensions: Approx. 2.5" H x 8" Diameter.
Condition: Light wear consistent with age, including minor surface scratches and natural stone inclusions; no major chips or cracks observed; overall very good vintage condition.

Shipping cost is dependent on the travel distance, weight/dimensions once packaged, as well as handling time and packing supplies.
Shipping time is estimated at 2 weeks from the date of payment. Tracking numbers are provided via email once parcels are scanned in with the carrier. Items will be shipped using USPS or UPS.
Shipping note: All paintings and large artwork are shipped separate from other items and will not calculate in combined shipping cost.
