A richly inlaid burl wood sewing box featuring a marquetry cornucopia and scrolling floral motifs, accented with abalone and silver plate details. The craftsmanship and patina showcase fine 19th-century decorative work, while the compact form makes it a versatile accent on a desk, console, or dressing table. Bold fuchsia interior (pictured) with storage compartments.

Condition: Minor surface wear and small inlay losses consistent with age; hinges secure and stable. Under compartment includes a music box (not working). No key present.
