Hand-Carved Wooden Grain Scoop
A large hand-carved wooden grain scoop, hewn from a single piece with a deep, angled basin and integrated handle. The form is distinctly utilitarian, designed for scooping grain, flour, or feed, with a wide mouth and thick walls for durability.
Examples like this were commonly used in agricultural and kitchen settings throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries. The carved interior and worn exterior surface reflect long-term use, giving the piece a strong, tactile presence.
