Guilloché Enamel Mandolin Pill Box
A finely made novelty trinket box formed as a classical mandolin, featuring deep green guilloché enamel panels with gilt metal detailing and inset paste stones. The hinged lid opens to a gilt interior, originally intended for small personal effects such as rings, pills, or snuff.
From the estate of Iris Apfel, whose personal collection reflected a lifelong appreciation for collectables, decoration, and playful luxury.
Origin: 20th century.
Material: Gilt metal with guilloché enamel and paste stones.

Condition: Light surface wear consistent with age; enamel intact; hinge functions properly; a few rhinestones missing.

Shipping cost is dependent on the travel distance, weight/dimensions once packaged, as well as handling time and packing supplies.
Shipping time is estimated at 2 weeks from the date of payment. Tracking numbers are provided via email once parcels are scanned in with the carrier. Items will be shipped using USPS or UPS.
