Gilt Framed “Winter” Portrait Engraving
A beautifully detailed stipple engraving titled Winter, engraved by Francesco Bartolozzi (1727–1815) after Francis Wheatley (1747–1801). Part of the famed Seasons series, this 19th-century restrike captures the quiet grace of Wheatley’s original with Bartolozzi’s masterful tonal technique.
