H. Grindley “Melbourne” Flow Blue Butter Pats (Pair)

Sale price$65.00

A beautiful pair of English flow blue butter pats in the Melbourne pattern by H. Grindley & Co., featuring a richly saturated cobalt transfer that softly blurs into the glaze—hallmark of the flow blue technique. The paneled design is accented with delicate gilt detailing, adding warmth and contrast to the cool blue tones.

The central reserves feature classical floral motifs framed by a deep blue border, giving them a refined yet slightly romantic quality. Pieces like these are incredibly versatile—perfect for layering into a tablescape, styling on a bar cart, or using as petite dishes for butter, salt, or small accompaniments.

Flow blue has long been favored for the way it adds depth and movement to a table, and these smaller forms are an easy way to incorporate it into everyday use or collected displays.
