Embossed Brass Twine Holder
A late-19th-century embossed brass twine holder featuring ribbon-and-garland motifs in relief and a ribbed central band. The hinged lid with top feed opening once held a spool of string for household or desk use, combining function and ornate design typical of the Victorian era. Its warm patina and intricate repoussé detailing make it a charming decorative accent today.
Origin: Continental Europe, late 19th century.
