






Davenport “Cyprus” Sugar Bowl
An antique English ironstone sugar bowl in the “Cyprus” pattern by Davenport, featuring a richly detailed brown transferware landscape scene. The octagonal form gives the piece a structured, architectural presence, complemented by delicate side handles and a fitted lid with a finial top. Intricate border decoration frames the pastoral imagery, creating a balanced and highly collectible example of 19th-century English transferware.
The underside bears the Davenport mark for the “Cyprus” pattern, confirming its English origin and adding to its appeal for collectors of early ironstone.
