c. 1905 Edwardian Chatelaine Notebook
A finely detailed Edwardian chatelaine-style notebook featuring an embossed Art Nouveau floral design and original attached pencil. The front is inscribed:
“Compliments of Lippitt Bros., Colfax, Wash., 1905”
Originally produced as a promotional piece, this compact notebook would have been worn at the waist on a chatelaine, used for jotting notes, keeping dance cards, or everyday references. The flowing botanical motifs and sculptural relief reflect the elegance of early 20th-century design, elevating what was once a practical object into something beautifully made.
A unique, dated example that offers a tangible glimpse into everyday life at the turn of the century.
Origin: United States, dated 1905.
Material: Embossed metal.
Dimensions: Approx. 2.75" L x 1.75" W // 5" L chain.
Condition: Light wear consistent with age; including patina and surface variation; original pencil present; interior paper replaced.

Shipping time is estimated at 2 weeks from the date of payment. Tracking numbers are provided via email once parcels are scanned in with the carrier. Items will be shipped using USPS or UPS.
