A beautifully preserved 19th-century botanical engraving depicting Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea), published August 1, 1831 by S. Ridgway, 169 Piccadilly. This early hand-colored plate features finely rendered blossoms in soft purples and greens, characteristic of medicinal herb studies from the period.
Professionally framed in a contemporary gold-toned frame with an olive mat that complements the engraving’s palette. A refined addition to any gallery wall, botanical collection, or traditional interior.
