“Brentford” Transferware Platter by Ford & Sons Ltd
A late Victorian English Aesthetic Movement platter by Ford & Sons Ltd of Burslem, Staffordshire, in the “Brentford” pattern. Featuring intricate floral and geometric motifs in burnt orange and black, it embodies the richly patterned ceramics of the late 19th century. A beautiful serving piece or display accent for collectors of English transferware.
Origin: England, c. 1895–1910.
Material: Earthenware.
Dimensions: 15" x 11".
Condition: Crazing and surface wear consistent with age; no chips or cracks.
