An original 18th-century engraving portraying King Charles II, richly decorated with classical drapery, architectural ornament, and royal iconography. Printed for Barnard’s New Complete & Authentic History of England, a well-known historical volume favored for its superior engraving quality.
Custom-framed in a gilt frame with an archival gold edge mat, creating a sophisticated contrast that makes the print feel both historical and fresh. A beautiful statement piece and a wonderful companion to other royal portraits.
