A small hand-blown art glass bowl with a wonderfully atmospheric tortoiseshell pattern, scattered in warm amber, cream and smoky tones against clear glass.
Rather than sitting only on the surface, the colors appear suspended throughout the glass, creating layers that shift as the vessel is turned. Tiny air bubbles and subtle points of metallic-looking shimmer add even more depth, giving the glass an almost jewel-like quality in direct light.
After the candle is finished, its scale makes it lovely as a small catchall or simply displayed as a piece of decorative art glass.
