Salvaged Decorative Architectural Panels

A pair of salvaged decorative panels from an American column-style mantel clock, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Each panel is built in the form of a miniature classical façade, with paired fluted columns, gilt capitals, arched upper openings, draped details, and painted panel windows.

Originally part of a larger mantel clock case, the panels now work beautifully as small architectural objects on their own. Their symmetry, layered relief, and worn painted surfaces give them the look of miniature stage sets or neoclassical building fragments, making them especially good for shelf styling, a cabinet of curiosities, or mixed into a collection of antique books and architectural salvage.
