A hand-painted antique Royal Doulton biscuit barrel featuring vividly rendered fish swimming among coral and aquatic foliage. Artist-signed and richly detailed, the decoration wraps around the vessel, creating a scene that feels equally at home in a seaside cottage, English country house, or collected cabinet of curiosities. Finished with its original silver-plated lid and swing handle, this unusual piece offers both decorative presence and practical use long after the candle has burned.

Condition: Antique condition with age-related wear consistent with use. Silverplate shows patina; light crazing on surface.
