Petite "Geneva" & "Heraldic" Serving Pair

A charming pair of small antique silver-plated serving pieces, bringing together two different Rogers patterns and eras. The pairing includes a rare small fork in Wm. Rogers & Sons’ Geneva pattern, introduced in 1881, alongside a petite bouillon spoon in 1847 Rogers Bros.’ Heraldic pattern, introduced in 1916.

The Geneva fork is the standout of the pair. Made by Wm. Rogers & Sons, the pattern was introduced in 1881 and is known for its elaborate Victorian, Aesthetic Movement ornament. This unusually small three-tined fork is a specialized form, with proportions similar to a seafood or cocktail fork. Its handle is exceptionally detailed, with botanical and geometric decoration extending nearly its entire length.

The Heraldic bouillon spoon, made by 1847 Rogers Bros., dates to the early 20th century. Its small, rounded bowl was designed for serving bouillon or other light soups from a cup, while the elaborately decorated handle features Heraldic’s distinctive floral and ornamental design. The reverse is marked 1847 Rogers Bros. / XS Triple, indicating the heavier silverplate finish.

Styling: Perfect for entertaining, these petite pieces can be incorporated into a charcuterie spread or appetizer service for serving olives, cornichons, nuts, cheeses, preserves, and other small bites.
