Lambidis Classical Urn Vase

A silver-plated vase by Lambidis, its classical urn silhouette defined by a rounded body, a broad cylindrical neck, and a flared rim. Tall openwork handles rise above the mouth in scrolling curves, with small foliate details lending intricacy to the otherwise smooth form. Closely spaced vertical ornament borders the rim and spreading pedestal foot, framing the reflective body with a measured rhythm of detail.

Lambidis (Λαμπίδης) is a prominent, high-end Greek silversmithing firm based in Athens, Greece, well-known throughout Europe for producing heavy, boutique hotel-grade hollowware and finely cast classical reproductions.

The balanced proportions and elevated handles give the vase a sculptural presence, equally compelling with flowers or displayed on its own.
