Quantity: Sold in varying sets of 4 and 3. Three sets available.

Antique silver-plated pastry forks by 1847 Rogers Bros. in the "Olive" pattern, catalogued with a circa 1880 introduction date. Fine double borders follow the elongated handles, curling inward at the tips around small foliate flourishes. Additional leaf ornament decorates the handles above an engraved script “K,” giving the design a pleasing balance of decorative detail and open silver.

Documented in this pattern as pie forks, their three-tined form includes a broadened outer tine for cutting through delicate pastry. They make a lovely accompaniment to afternoon tea or dessert, paired with collected porcelain, English transferware and linen napkins. The restrained ornament allows them to sit comfortably among different china patterns, while the matching monograms lend cohesion to the set. Marked “1847 Rogers Bros. A1.” Offered together as eleven forks.
