A charming antique French footstool in the Louis XVI style, featuring a carved and giltwood frame with fluted tapered legs, carved corner blocks, and a repeating carved border along the apron. The original gilt finish has developed a beautiful aged patina with areas of wear and exposed wood that add to its character.
The footstool has been reupholstered in a classic buttercream and crimson textile, finished with coordinating decorative trim.
Origin: Late 19th century; France.
Materials: Carved giltwood, upholstered textile.

Condition: Antique condition with age-appropriate wear and patina to the giltwood. Recently reupholstered.
