Etched Glass Decanters

A beautiful pair of antique-style clear glass decanters featuring delicate floral etching, decorative glass stoppers, and ornate silver-tone liquor labels. With their elegant proportions and intricate detailing, these decanters recall the traditional appointments of an English drawing room or gentleman's drinks cabinet.

Each decanter features a rounded body with a gently sloping shoulder and elongated neck, decorated with a diamond-patterned texture. The glass is embellished with an elaborate arrangement of etched flowers, scrolling foliage, and trailing leaves, creating a particularly lovely effect as light passes through the vessels.

Both decanters retain their clear glass stoppers and decorative silver-tone hanging labels, each inscribed Scotch and Bourbon within an ornamental floral border. Suspended from delicate chains, the labels lend the pair an additional layer of traditional barware charm.

Liquor decanters were a familiar feature of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century entertaining, allowing spirits to be presented at the table or displayed in a drinks cabinet. Decorative glassware of this kind remains especially appealing for its combination of practical function and craftsmanship.

An elegant addition to a traditional bar, library, or dining room, this coordinating pair would be particularly handsome displayed alongside antique silver, cut crystal, and collected entertaining pieces. They also make lovely decorative vessels when not in use.
