English Brass Tilt-Top Kettle Stand with Claw Feet
An early 19th-century English brass kettle stand featuring a pierced and scalloped circular top, supported on a baluster-form pedestal and raised on three cabriole legs terminating in claw feet.
Originally used at the hearth to hold a kettle or warming vessel, the top is designed to tilt—allowing it to be positioned upright when not in use or adjusted as needed. The pierced design not only adds visual interest but also serves a functional purpose, allowing heat to circulate.
Pieces like this were part of everyday domestic life, yet the craftsmanship elevates them far beyond purely utilitarian objects—making them especially appealing today as decorative accents with purpose.

Material: Cast brass.
Dimensions: Approx. 11" W x 8" H ; 9" W x 13" H (folded).
