Quantity: Pair of 2. Two pairs available.

Beautiful pair of antique Davenport “Amoy” flow blue saucers, featuring a richly saturated cobalt-blue Chinoiserie landscape. The design centers on an atmospheric Eastern-inspired scene surrounded by the characteristic blurred, flowing transfer that gives these pieces their wonderful depth and movement.

The “Amoy” pattern is one of Davenport’s well-known Chinoiserie designs, depicting an exotic landscape with architecture, trees, and water. The pattern was produced in a variety of forms during the mid-19th century, including tea wares.

These saucers have a particularly dramatic flow blue effect, with areas of deep cobalt bleeding into the white ground and creating almost painterly variation around the rim and central transfer. They pair beautifully with the matching Davenport Amoy tea bowls also available separately.
