Classical Garden with Swans Painting

A romantic early 20th-century oil painting depicting two women beside a formal garden pond crowded with white swans. The composition is framed by classical terrace columns and balustrades, with cascading golden foliage overhead and a softly painted landscape receding beyond the water.

The artist uses a bright, atmospheric palette of lavender, pale blue, rose, green, and golden yellow, with loose, visible brushwork throughout the figures, water, and plumage. One woman stands beneath the trees while the second leans toward the pond, creating a graceful garden scene with the theatrical, impressionistic quality associated with turn-of-the-century decorative painting.
