Carved Walnut Fruit & Nut Pediment

A beautifully carved walnut architectural pediment, featuring a richly detailed arrangement of fruit, nuts, leaves, and ribbon-like foliage. The deeply carved composition has wonderful dimension, centered by a trio of rounded fruit forms and accented by smaller textured nut forms, fan-shaped leaves, and flowing botanical details.

An especially charming architectural fragment with a warm, timeworn finish and the substantial carving typical of decorative woodwork intended to be seen and appreciated up close.

Beautiful mounted above a doorway, cabinet, mantel, or architectural opening, or displayed on its own as a piece of carved decorative art. The warm walnut tones would pair beautifully with antique furniture, brass, oil paintings, and other collected wood elements.
