Sold as a pair. Two pairs available.

A wonderfully kitschy piece of 1970s tableware, this pair of Byron Molds ceramic bowls is designed as a miniature melon-and-leaf arrangement. Each rounded bowl has a textured, cantaloupe-like exterior in warm cream and green, with a glossy golden-orange interior, and rests on a sculptural green leaf-shaped underplate with raised veining.

Originally intended as individual fruit or dessert bowls, they're particularly charming for serving ice cream, berries, nuts, or small desserts. They also make fantastic candle vessels, with the orange-toned interiors giving the pieces an especially warm glow when filled.

Style them on a breakfast table, kitchen counter, bar cart, or garden-inspired tablescape with vintage glassware, wicker, transferware, brass, or other botanical ceramics. The leaf-shaped bases are substantial enough to make these feel like little sculptural arrangements rather than ordinary bowls.

Origin: Marked 1978
Material: Glazed ceramic
Condition: Good vintage condition with small flea bites on two of the leaf plates (pictured).
