Beautiful vintage burnt bamboo side table with a warm tortoiseshell finish and wonderfully detailed construction. The rectangular table features a slatted bamboo top framed by split bamboo, with turned bamboo legs and lower stretchers. The open construction gives it a light, airy quality while the richly aged finish adds plenty of character.
The underside is particularly lovely, showing the original bamboo joinery and hand-constructed assembly. The piece has a great mix of natural variation, darker scorch marks, patina, and surface wear throughout consistent with age and use. A versatile accent table that would work beautifully beside a chair or sofa, as a drinks table, plant stand, or small bedside table.
