Birks Mother-of-Pearl Knife & Fork Set, Service for 6

An elegant antique flatware service by Birks, comprising six knives and six forks with genuine mother-of-pearl handles and decorative silver plate fittings. The luminous handles display beautiful natural variations of ivory, blush, and soft iridescence, complemented by ornate floral detailing at the ferrules.

Each piece features a gently tapered mother-of-pearl handle with a decorative metal collar adorned with raised scrolling motifs. The knives have softly rounded blades, while the coordinating four-tined forks complete the service. Their design reflects the refined table settings of the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, when mother-of-pearl handled cutlery was particularly fashionable for formal dining.
