Art Nouveau Brass & Copper Vase

A striking vintage Imperial Russian hand-forged brass and copper double-handled ewer or vase, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. The distinctive tapered, conical body rises to a dramatically flared bifurcate mouth, framed by two elegant arched handles. Hand-hammered construction and a beautifully aged surface give the piece wonderful warmth and character, while its fluid silhouette reflects the organic styling of the Art Nouveau period.

A beautiful sculptural piece displayed on its own, or filled with tall branches, dried grasses, or seasonal foliage. Its warm metallic tones pair especially well with dark woods, antique ceramics, and other collected objects.
