An elegant English silverplate condensed milk holder by Martin Hall & Co., Sheffield, dating to the Victorian period. Originally designed to conceal and present a condensed milk tin at the tea table, the holder features a finely woven pierced body, domed lid, and matching underplate, all accented by delicate beaded borders. The engraved monogram "AC" on the lid reflects its original owner's history, adding to the charm and authenticity of this beautifully preserved piece. Martin Hall & Co. was one of Sheffield's most respected 19th-century silversmiths, renowned for producing finely crafted silverplate for the Victorian table.

Once the candle has burned, it is equally beautiful styled on a coffee station or tea tray, or repurposed to hold tea bags, wrapped sweeteners, cookies, or other small household essentials.

Maker: Martin Hall & Co.
